This natural, non-toxic, mineral sunscreen was crafted with our little ones in mind (baby safe!), and excellent for sensitive skin.

 

It offers broad-spectrum protection using non-nano zinc oxide - nature’s safest physical blocker of the sun. Made with pure, organic ingredients like calendula-infused olive oil, carrot root-infused sunflower oil, cocoa and shea butters, and coconut oil. Added benefits of antioxidant-rich sea buckthorn, raspberry and blackberry seed oils.  This formula soothes while shielding your delicate skin from harmful UV rays.

 

Sea Buckthorn berry oil is made from berries that are among the richest natural sources of vitamins C and E, essential fatty acids, amino acids, and beta-carotene, giving them their vibrant color. The oil is highly regarded in traditional herbal skincare for its skin-renewing properties and moderate UV-B absorption, making it ideal for sun care and therapeutic blends.

 

Raspberry & Blackberry seed oils, lightweight, non-comedogenic (non-pore clogging), and naturally rich in vitamin E. They also contain carotenoids and other powerful antioxidants that help defend the skin against environmental stress and support mild UV protection, making them a beautiful addition to sun care formulas. Gentle and deeply nourishing, it’s ideal for babies, sensitive and mature skin alike.

 

Carrot root is rich in beta-carotene content and nourishing vitamins, which help tone and replenish the skin, enhance a natural healthy glow, and support cellular regeneration, making it a powerful ally in protecting and restoring sun-exposed skin.

 

These oils are high-quality, cold-pressed, unrefined, and organic, incredibly rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and skin-repairing nutrients. Thanks to the inclusion of beeswax, this formula is naturally water-resistant; however, reapplication is recommended as needed, especially after prolonged swimming or excessive perspiration and wiping of the skin.

Our rating of SPF 30-40 is estimated based on the natural SPF properties of each individual ingredient (extremely rich is vitamins E, C, and beta-carotenes), along with the specific concentration of non-nano zinc oxide used in the formula (22%). For prolonged sun exposure, we recommend reapplying frequently and using additional sun protection measures, such as hats and protective clothing.
