Hi, I'm Sofia! An advocate for holistic healing, a mother, herbal researcher, yoga practitioner, and hold a PhD in Psychology, passionate about nurturing holistic wellness and self-discovery.
I created Sofia Luna Healing - alongside my partner, Jesse - as a way to offer natural health & healing products designed to support your journey to inner balance. My offerings — crafted with intention and love — aim to heal, rejuvenate, restore, and bring a little magic into your self-care routine.
Jesse Kemp
Master Plant Cultivator
Jesse is the mastermind behind the plants that we incorporate into our skincare creations. Without his steady hands and intentional ways of growing, this whole production would not be possible.
When he's not growing plants at Plan B Organic Farms, you'll find him in our home garden, hanging out with the kids, or starting a dance party while DJing on his turntables.

How it all started...
From an early age, I had been surrounded by the gentle power of holistic healing. Growing up, I had very sensitive skin and occasional eczema outbreaks. My parents tried conventional, over-the-counter products for a while; however, we often found that they exacerbated my symptoms and led to other skin (and health) irritations. As a result, my family turned to alternative health care and natural products as our healing modalities (herbal remedies, tinctures, homeopathic pellets, etc.), and they truly made a difference in our lives.
Although visiting our naturopathic doctor wasn’t always affordable, I admired my mother as she would also devote herself to crafting healing products, such as soaps, sacred tinctures, and oils, as well as practicing reiki — gifts that she lovingly used with our family and shared at local markets. I still remember often assisting her in creating products, as well as taking in the delicate fragrances of her lavender and ylang-ylang soaps, fragrant oils, and beeswax candles. These are scents I often incorporate into my own creations today as a tribute to those cherished moments, in addition to their very healing properties.
I had my first taste of homesteading in 2020, where I lived on a quiet piece of land along the Ottawa River. It was there that I discovered the deep healing power of living in rhythm with nature - growing my own herbs and vegetables, canning and pickling, practicing yoga asana and meditation daily, and learning to slow down and care for my body and spirit with what the earth provides. This way of life sparked a deeper connection to the land and a passion for creating natural remedies rooted in simplicity and love.
During adulthood, I continued to experience chronically dry skin, especially in our intense Canadian winters. Despite searching, I found it increasingly difficult to find products that truly nourished my skin without harmful additives, even in natural health stores. This awareness deepened during my pregnancy a few of years ago, as I became even more mindful of what I placed on and within my body.
During this time, I began working on an organic farm, where I spent my days immersed in
the cycles of the land. In my spare time, I dove into researching the wisdom of plants
and the art of formulating truly nourishing, nature-based products. That journey grew
into something more: a calling to create healing remedies that were not only effective
and non-toxic, but also infused with care and intention.
Today, alongside my partner, Jesse — an organic farmer with over 15 years
in the field — we cultivate many of the plants used in these handcrafted products. Our
primary medicinal plant production includes: calendula, echinacea, burdock,
thyme, lemon balm, marshmallow root, cayenne pepper, comfrey, lavender,
eucalyptus, plantain herb, rosemary, sage, ground ivy, hyssop, to name a few....
Together, we honour nature’s profound ability to heal and nourish us, and are dedicated to sharing this with others. Each plant is nurtured with care and purpose and this translates into the handcrafted products that we create.
At Sofia Luna Healing, our mission is to inspire and empower others to embrace a holistic approach to self-care, supporting them in reconnecting with nature’s rhythms.
As a mental health advocate and yoga practitioner focused on somatic healing, I also
incorporate practices that nurture the body, mind, and spirit. My approach is to offer a
safe and supportive space where clients can explore the deep connection between
movement and emotional well-being.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your relationship with holistic health, explore your
yoga practice, or address specific emotional challenges, I invite you to take a look at
my products and/or book a session with me to begin this journey of healing and self-
discovery. Together, we can cultivate transformation and create a deeper sense of
balance and peace in your life.
If you have any question about my products, do not hesitate to touch base here.
